Here is a list of the most common reasons why your landing page might not be working (and what to do):
If you’re unable to access or publish landing pages on your free account, ensure that your account is fully confirmed. Here's how:
Go to your MailerLite Dashboard.
Locate “Step 3” on the confirmation checklist.
Click “Complete” to finalize the confirmation process.
Once these steps are completed, publishing issues on free accounts should be resolved.
The landing page isn't loading or isn’t found
Make sure your landing page is published.
Landing pages will only be accessible after you publish them. Remember, if you re-open your landing page editor and make any changes, you must republish it.
To republish your landing page, you can click on the Save and publish button inside the landing page editor.
Alternatively, you can publish the latest version of your landing page from your landing page overview:
Navigate to Sites.
Click the Landing page tab.
Click on the Overview button:
Click the Publish new version button.
💡 Note: All free accounts can publish up to 10 Landing Pages, and all paid accounts can publish unlimited Websites and Landing Pages. Limitations: Free plan users cannot publish landing pages on custom domains. The default domain for landing pages is subscribepage.io. Landing pages will only be accessible on this domain unless the account is upgraded to a premium plan to allow connecting custom domains.
If your landing page is already published, try to re-publish it:

Re-save the URL
If the URL was not saved properly, it can affect your Landing Page. This might happen if your browser tab is closed during the loading screen after saving and or publishing the page.
To re-save the URL:
Navigate to Sites.
Click the Landing page tab.
Click the Overview button on your Landing Page.
Click in Edit Settings:
And at the bottom of the page, click on the Save and continue button.
Are you using a custom domain? Make sure it's connected.
To use a custom domain on your Landing Page, you would need to:
If you see “Check DNS Status” instead, you would need to connect your domain to our servers, we created this complete step-by-step to assist you with it: How to link your custom domain to our server.
Note: After adding the DNS records, they might take up to 24h to be approved (fully propagated), depending on your hosting provider, and therefore, your domain might take up to 24h to become active.
See if the SSL is enabled:
When you point your domain to our servers and its status is active, the process of enabling SSL will automatically begin. The process of fully enabling the SSL certificate may take a few hours.
💡 Note: If the SSL has not been enabled after several hours, and it is stuck with ❌ SSL not enabled, check if the DNS page of your domain has an AAAA type record. This type of record pointing to another server will prevent the SSL from being enabled, so it must be removed.
Review the domain is connected to your landing page:
If you see that your domain has “Free” in the Site column, you simply need to edit your Landing Page URL and connect it to your domain:
To connect the domain to your Landing Page URL, follow these steps:
Navigate to Sites.
Click the Landing page tab.
Click the Overview button on your landing page.
Click in Edit Settings.
Select the domain in the dropdown menu:
And at the bottom of the page, click on the Save and continue button.

Clear Cookies and Cache
The cache stores website material for the long term in the browser and the cookies are used to save the user's preferences on both the server and the browser. This helps speed up the loading time, but may also be storing outdated information. It is important to clear them every so often.
We created a quick guide on how to clear cookies and cache in different browsers here.
Subscribers are not being added to my list.
Make sure your landing page is connected to a group.
Once the landing page is completed and ready to be published, please make sure to choose a group. This will be the group where subscribers who have signed up on your landing page will be added. Then click Continue.
To see the group (s) connected to your landing page:
Check if Double Opt-in is enabled.
When you create a landing page, double opt-in is enabled by default. You can enable or disable double opt-in, heading to the Overview page of the landing page and toggling the switch.
If double opt-in is enabled, your subscribers must confirm their subscription via email before being added to the list.
These subscribers will be stored in the “Unconfirmed” section of your subscriber list until they confirm their subscription.
