This article breaks down the different types of discounts available, how to apply for them, and how they work during checkout and renewal.
1. 10% discount on yearly pricing
You automatically save 10% when choosing an annual subscription instead of a monthly plan.

2. 30% discount for Nonprofit organizations.
MailerLite support organizations with a good cause! Eligible nonprofit organizations can receive a 30% discount on their subscription.

To apply for nonprofit discount:
Prepare documentation verifying your organization’s nonprofit status.
Submit it to our Support Team.
Once approved, the discount will be applied to your account and to your next purchase.
3. Special discounts and timely limited offers
From time to time, we may run time-limited promotional offers. Promotional discounts, such as those offered during Black Friday campaigns or Classic Migration Discounts, are only valid during specific promotional periods and become eligible solely within those timeframes.
Ensure you check each promotion's official start and expiration dates before attempting to apply them. Promotional discounts typically apply for a fixed period, such as three months, before reverting to standard pricing. They can also be used for upgrading to higher-tier plans but are not valid for renewals of the same plan or downgrades.
These offers may follow different rules than our standard discounts (for example, timing, eligibility, or discount percentage). Promotions may also vary in eligibility based on account type.

How Discounts in MailerLite work
Discount Stacking
Discounts do not stack. If multiple discounts are available (e.g., a nonprofit discount and a promotional offer), the most advantageous discount will automatically be applied to your account. (conditions may apply)
For instance, a 33% Black Friday promotional discount cannot be combined with the regular 10% annual discount. Whichever discount is higher will automatically apply.
Applying Discounts at the Checkout
All eligible discounts are applied during the checkout process.
You will see:
The final price updated on the checkout page
A clear breakdown showing the discount applied before completing your purchase
For example, for yearly plans, the total shown at checkout will automatically include the 10% discount.
Discounts and Automatic Renewals FAQs related to renewals:
Will my discount be automatically applied at renewal?: Yes, active discounts tied to your account, including those for nonprofits or annual plans, apply automatically, ensuring a seamless renewal experience.
Discount behaviour during renewal depends on the type of discount applied to your account.
Some discounts—such as the nonprofit discount or yearly discount—will automatically carry over into your renewal, while other discounts may not.
Promotional discounts may at a time apply to subsequent plan upgrades or renewals. However, they are only applied if the discount is still active (not expired) in your account and if the selected plan meets the eligibility criteria defined in the original sale offer terms at the time of the claim. If your discount is eligible for plan renewal it will be automatically applied and appear on your renewal invoice. Past promotions cannot be retroactively applied or extended into future renewals. Additionally, if you believe a promotional discount should apply but doesn’t appear on your renewal invoice, verify the expiration date and eligibility of the offer.
Displayed Costs vs. Billed Amounts Discrepancy
The MailerLite App Plan and Billing section - https://dashboard.mailerlite.com/billing presents the base price for subscription excluding any discounts. Any applicable discounts are previewed in the upgrade section - https://dashboard.mailerlite.com/billing/upgrade and the checkout after selecting a plan. To preview plan prices based on your subscriber count and billing preference:
Go to Account Settings > Plan and Billing > Upgrade.
Adjust the subscriber count slider.
Toggle between monthly and annual billing. Displayed prices for plans on the "Choose your Plan" page include the relevant discounts.
Billing adjustments like prorated credits will be reflected based on the campaign rules.
This is the standard policy regarding discounts. However, some special offers and promotions may have different rules. When upgrading your plan with a special offer, please refer to the applicable offer details for any exceptions and full conditions.
